Israel intensifies operations in the West Bank, displacing thousands of Palestinians
We worked hard on this story—filming inside Nur Shams camp in Tulkarm, a dangerous area under tight military control with limited coverage in western media. Many in the West Bank say what’s unfolding here is starting to resemble Gaza. And as we tell it, we’re thinking of all the journalists killed in Gaza—who risk everything to make sure the story wasn’t silenced. Huge thanks to @sam_hassan94 and @francessmarlo for filming, producing and support help. #WestBank #Tulkarm #NurShams #Palestine #Gaza #Palestinians #isarel #tulkarm #WestBank #Jenin #Gaza #aid #displacement #journalism #palestinian #israel #WestBank #gaza

As U S Cuts Deepen Somalia’s Hunger Crisis, Aid Groups Turn to Middle East for Support
The UN and Somali government are warning that 4.4 million people could go hungry by April this year due to worsening drought, conflict, and rising food prices in the Horn of Africa nation. Recent U.S. aid cuts have tripped millions of dollars from the response, a move The World Food Programme has called a death sentence. Aid agencies are now urgently appealing for The Middle East to step up and fill the gap. Danielle Robertson reports from one of the hardest hit areas of Baidoa in Somalia. Trapped between two wars: Syrians flee to Lebanon
Tens of thousands of people have crossed into Lebanon from Syria in the past three months as the realities of life after the fall of Bashar al-Assad takes hold. A UNHCR report reveals that Syrians who fled Israeli strikes in Lebanon last year—and those who returned home hoping to rebuild— have now been forced back across the border. Human rights organisation ACHR found some Syrians also faced grave security threats from the former Assad regime and related security entities and thousands fled in fear of the new leadership. Many say they now feel trapped between two wars with an uncertain future. #syria #lebanon #assad

Childcare Sector Faces Crisis Amid Rising Costs & Burnout
The childcare industry in Australia is facing an unprecedented crisis, brought about by factors such as the rising cost of living, childcare worker burnout and high staff turnover. With fewer workers in the sector and a shrinking number of childcare places, parents in these countries report job disruption and even job losses, as well as growing financial strain and stress. CNA Correspondent takes a look at what the crisis means for families, children and childcare workers alike, and how governments and organisations are approaching the issue.

Relooking Australia's seafood export strategy
Australia’s seafood industry is aiming to ensure its survival in the face of freight constraints and Chinese sanctions, setting itself up for a post-pandemic rebound with new trading partners. There has also been a shift towards locally-caught products, which is now a key supplier of local businesses. CNA's Danielle Robertson reports. Tackling fish waste with an ancient craft
Sustainability in the fishery industry was the driving factor right from the beginning, for the only fish leather company in Australia. The fish skin typically either ends up back in the ocean or straight into a landfill. CNA's Danielle Robertson reports.
